What an amazing week!  Creative Wellness hosted its first showcase at Vagabond School of the Arts on March 16 & 17, with a generous donation from Finch's Beer.  We had over 70 people join us for drinks, snacks, and an introduction to our training and work.  The Chicago artistic community never ceases to inspire us with its kindness, generosity, and support.

The evening started with quick intros of our staff and ensemble followed by demos of our training exercises.  The second half of the program featured an excerpt from our adaptation of "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera as well as our adaptation of Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree."  The response to our work was super encouraging and we can't wait to share our work with more people!

We also learned that Creative Wellness has been accepted into Core Project's GOING DUTCH festival in June where we will present an adaptation of "Annabelle Lee" by Edgar Allen Poe.  AND we're continuing to offer our drop-in contacting class on Tuesday nights at Ruth Page School of the Arts.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our showcase and we can't wait to move with you soon!
